Caitlin Cassidy (mezzo-soprano soloist) joins UWA Choral Society, the Perth Undergraduate Choral Society and St Barnabas Choir to sing the Australian premiere of Oratorium nach den Bildern der Bibel by Fanny Hensel (neé Mendelssohn). Deeply emotive but rarely performed, this work will come to life under the baton of accomplished conductor Sarah Mills Menogue.

UWACS new conductor Kris Bowtell will multitask in this concert as a soloist in the oratorio, and as conductor in the second half – conducting Vivaldi’s Gloria; an amazing arrangement of Elizabeth Poston’s carol; and a couple of well-known Christmas carols to finish off (you are welcome to join in on these)!
